Eve's background is in theatre, singing and dance. She completed her BA in contemporary theatre and dance at Dartington College of Arts and then consolidated her studies at Drama Studio. She spent her 20's living in London and performing in theatre and cabaret and enjoyed the flexibility and diversity of the work.
It was on a trip to Thailand that she encountered Thai massage and she decided there and then to train in this healing art as it resonated with her. She continued her training in London and qualified in Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Pregnancy massage and Trigger Point therapy, whilst continuing to perform in the evenings. She built up her own busy practice on Brick Lane and treated an array of clients, from sports professionals to business people, musicians and dancers. She has been running her own practice for 10 years.
Becoming a yoga teacher felt like a natural progression for Eve as she had aways worked with her body, both as a performer and treating her many clients over the years. She was inspired by the graceful movements of the yoga asanas as well as the profound spiritual teachings and this ignited the desire in her to become a teacher.
Eve initially trained in Kerala, South India, at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram. She then completed her 500 hours training at the YMCA in London. She continues to develop her knowledge and teaching skills by attending regular workshops at Triyoga and other world renowned training centres and completed her Yin Yoga Intensive with Norman Blair in 2018.
Eve sees yoga as a limitless expression of the divine self, a vehicle for self transformation and for developing gratitude and compassion and finds that her own practice helps her to grow and engage with life more truthfully and joyfully.
Eve continues to be inspired by many wonderful teachers throughout the world, however she believes that each person can learn to be their own teacher and develop a deeper connection with their true inner voice.
